Difficult Child

My mother said

“You were a difficult child”

This has stuck with me

I’ve pondered the meaning

Over and over

My advice:

If you have a difficult child

Find a witch or

A wise old woman

Let her teach your child during the day

Let the deer, the wolf, the bees, trees and grasses take her as their own

The wind and the earthquake rock her

The wild water and fire cleanse her

And you best be left to love her in the morning and evening
