I Am

A few minutes ago I looked at a bio that I wrote for a group that I am briefly in. I usually sit deep when I write my bio because words we speak about ourselves are important.

I’m a grandmother and a budding elder exploring my blood and bones, calling myself back to myself and asking my DNA to light up, light up, light up, to meet these times in full reciprocity”

And yes, who I am runs deep in the fabric of the times we are in and I, not alone, am the blood, the bones, the movement, the life, in these times.

I have a tendency to go Meta, but what will happen when I draw that same energy into form, this form. It’s humbling to be in form, in body. We are naked to the 5 senses and visible, touchable and heard.

As we draw that Meta, the dimensions of self, into form, we remember the lessons that humanity has attempted to keep alive in all of our history. The rules are simple and no one is exempt.

We remember certain saints, goddesses, angels in our attempts but sometimes forget that this is who we are meant to be. It’s not that fancy.

It’s just not that fancy.

So yes, I am an elder, a grandmother asking myself to light up and hoping that I can meet the times and live into the joy of our awakening.

With love,

Laura
