Guidance
How do you stay inspired?
I’m feeling the importance of staying steady. Staying steady does not mean working hard or sticking to a dogma.
I’m not really sure what it means, that seems to be the study right now. I want to feel what this is in my bones, in my tissues, in my cells. There is more to me then what my brain cells like to connect and reconnect. The understanding that is needed is deep-deep, deeper than breath and yet held by breath, held in this body.
Sometimes we imagine that breath holds us in this body but what holds the breath. And this, this is the part that cannot be imagined by the brain cells.
This is where it gets loopy and tricky. We as humans have looped around and around on the same track, thinking that we are going somewhere.
We sometimes think that in order to transcend we need to leave our humanity but look at the free trees, look at the free soil, look at the sun and stars. We think that we are better, more advanced when in reality we are all living here together. Are we as humans exempt from the laws of being in physical form? Do the trees feel the ecstasy of the sap running up and down the trunk, of the force that is running the sap?
Are we feeling the ecstasy? Would it, will it, be the same without this body?
All of these things aside, here I am. asking for simple guidance from the most magnificent source, that guides my breath.
May I sit simply for a moment and listen.
