Under standing Another

When you thank me, I adorn myself with your thanks and offer all of myself to the Great Mother

Her beauty is mine to enjoy, the thanks mine to wear.

I am given, and in breath, constantly renewed

As I express ideas and feelings that are passing through me, sometimes I may come across as a “know it all”. My sixth grade teacher was very clear, to me personally, that no one likes someone who knows all of the answers. That stuck with me for a long time. I have gotten coaching on this topic in an attempt to regain my confidence and innocence. Sometimes poems that come through are a striving, a glimpse into what is possible or an understanding that was with me for a brief moment, merely passing through. At times my writing is on topics that I know deeply.

You, the reader, can take them however you want, maybe not knowing where it is coming from within me, understanding it in the way that you understand things or choosing not to read at all (boundaries).

One of the beauties of actually being with someone (Zoom, phone,or in person) is the deep expressing and listening that can happen. By listening carefully and asking questions we can gain insight . An understanding that is on a more subtle level, a sharing that goes beyond words and into the energetic realm is also possible.

One of my goals is to write posts that are funnier, more relatable, thought provoking without being preachy. Alas, this is not one of them:)
