Stone Mountain Water
I love water, I always have. I grew up in the high desert and treated water with respect. My father could douse for water.
I could swim before I knew how to walk. Water surrounds and provides support. It goes in all of the hidden places, including all of our cells. Water carries away debris, provides a living space and is an essential ingredient in growing our food.
Water tears things away, dead and alive, changes a land shape and roars with a sometimes overwhelming and exhilarating power.
Water is also gentle like a true mother’s lips and hand. Today the water was very big and gentle.
