Solstice Is Coming

Who shows others their debris? I brought some plants inside my house to overwinter and they let loose a little. That’s what happens.

Soon the solstice will be here. A day is marked on the calendar but it is more than that. I know this is not scientific, but, as winter begins to arrive I feel my blood start to cool and go in upon itself. I sleep a little longer, I dream more.

I begin to look at what I have, and make decisions and plans on what needs to be mended and what needs to recycle apart from me.

Have you ever seen a person preparing their backpack for a months long hike? They are very careful, thinking do I want this, do I need this, can I carry this?

Imagine that your body is a backpack or a tiny home. What do you want to keep and mend, what do you want to clear? Do I want this, do I need this, can I carry this?

No hurry, optimistically , we have all winter. Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance, sometimes that stuff is so heavy!
