Magic

Full disclosure: I was reading a small bit this morning in “Red Tarot, A Decolonial Guide to Divinatory Literacy”, by Christopher Marmolejo.

They were speaking about magic, which is something that holds a fascination for many folks.

I have a sticker from a dear friend and fellow walker (Sora Schilling)that says “Magic is Real”. I love it.

Magic is the very often unseen breath that moves and changes physical matter. We often see it portrayed in it’s grossest forms in books and movies as a power that a person controls and directs, something that is at the beck and call of a person of power.

But is that what true and real magic is?

Magic is not power over but power of. For example, the power that moves breath, the power that moves waves, no, is magic possibly in our perception of that which moves the waves, in our ability to feel and move with that, not control it but be vibrated by it?

Are we the dolphins who shimmer and move, feeling far and wide all that we are within (both meanings, what we are a part of and what we are inside our physical boundary), and is the magic felt and felt and more than felt, have the ability to transform and vibrate.

I am an explorer. The source of magic is a true mystery.

Prompt for today:What am I vibrating? What magic am I feeling? How am I transforming my surroundings and how does this ripple through every dimension? In your own words and frame of belief but most of all feel and allow magic to be experienced and expressed in your way.
