Words and Kindness

Words really don’t mean anything. They can be vehicles, they can be triggers, they can be associations, or art pieces. They in themselves don’t mean anything.

This came up as a goal of trying to be more direct and clear in my communication skills is dancing in me.

As more of the energies and possibilities are being felt by us, the residents of Mother Earth, we sometimes join with our friends and neighbors in a collaboration to try to paint a better picture of what we are experiencing.

Over the last year or so I have tried and tried to put what I feel into words to be as clear, relatable and hopefully respectful as possible. I may have to scrap my approach, learn the lesson that words alone cannot hold what we are being asked to communicate.

I am still a baby, albeit an elder one.

I see myself, on an internal screen, blowing (gently sometimes and with big gusts other times) into words (aloud or in written language). I want to learn this skill. I want to learn it so well that the meanings poof out and are …..

Then the word kindness comes. Kindness is not a learned skill. I am instructed that kindness is a vehicle. If the message can’t fit in this vehicle, maybe it is not ready to send.

PS. Kindness is not necessarily syrupy and sweet.

With love,

Laura
